This Beautiful Island is situated on Prof. dr. ir. WJ Van Blommensteinlake in the district Brokopondo. It’s about a 2 hours drive from Paramaribo to the Afobaka Dorp (boat pickup) and another 1.15 mins to Matu Island by boat.

Transportation to & from Paramaribo is not included. Your vehicle can be safely parked at the Afobaka Dorp for a cost of SRD 100 per/overnight by the store name Transport.
Note: Please bring your own fishing gear, raincoat, towel (hand & beach ), alcoholic beverages, preferably none alcoholic drinks, snacks, and extra plastic bags for wet clothes, mosquito gel, passport.

Our four(4) bedroom Cabana is great for guests who want a little more privacy or to do their own cooking.

1 bedroom has a Queen-size bed 2 pers. 1 bedroom has a twin-size bed 2 pers.2 bedrooms has a twin-size bunk beds each 4 pers.and also an extra twin-size bed in the living room (2 pers).
