You leave Paramaribo heading towards Atjoni at approximately 09:00 am. During the journey, you make two stops to use the restroom or enjoy a quick snack. By early afternoon, you arrive at Atjoni and then embark on a one-hour boat trip to Knini Paati. Upon reaching the island, you can unwind and savor a late lunch. Afterward, you'll proceed with the check-in process and settle into your designated lodge. The rest of the first day is dedicated to acclimating yourself to the surroundings and relaxing. You'll have the opportunity to go for a swim or simply unwind by the sula (waterfall). At 7 pm, the evening meal is served, followed by a chance to enjoy the serene atmosphere and tranquility of the place.

Today is all about experiencing new adventures and making lasting impressions. The day starts with breakfast being served promptly at 08:00 am, and at 09:00 am, you set off for your first excursion, which will last a few hours. You'll be back on the island in time to relish a delightful lunch.

Afterward, you have the freedom to immerse yourself in nature and take advantage of the resort's amenities. Whether it's lounging in a hammock with a good book or indulging in a refreshing siesta, the choice is yours. Additionally, you can opt to go for a swim or unwind near the sula, enjoying its calming ambiance.

As the clock strikes 7 pm, dinner awaits you, setting the stage for the exciting evening ahead. You can get ready for the upcoming excursion, which includes caiman spotting and a mesmerizing night boat trip.

This is the day when the great adventure begins! Following breakfast at 08:00 am, you'll prepare for an invigorating forest walk guided by an expert. This captivating walk will last for at least 3 hours, during which the guide will share fascinating insights about the diverse tree species in the forest and offer valuable knowledge about the lifestyles and traditions of the ancestors who once inhabited the area. It's an immersive experience that will leave you enriched and enlightened. Upon your return, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you.

Following the forest walk and lunch, the rest of the day is yours to immerse yourself in nature and fully enjoy the resort's offerings. You have a plethora of options to choose from. You can leisurely lounge in a hammock, read a book, or simply have a siesta. If you love the water, you can take a refreshing swim or enjoy peaceful moments by the sula. If you're in the mood for some indulgence, treat yourself to a chilled beer at the restaurant.

On the fourth day breakfast is servedfrom 08:00 am, and you can savor your final hours on the island. Unwind in the hammock on your lodge's balcony or take a refreshing swim in the sula before bidding farewell to this tranquil paradise and heading back to the city of Paramaribo.

Check-out time is at 10:30 am, followed by a lunch at 11:30 am. At 12:00 pm, the return journey to Atjoni commences, where our driver will be waiting to pick you up. During the return journey, there will be one stopover, ensuring you reach your holiday address on time, with a sense of fulfillment from the wonderful discovery journey you experienced in Upper Suriname!
